Barcelona:We can do better!
We can do better than 15th !
Before the qualifying session, I knew that being in Q3 would be difficult, nonetheless I was hoping to do better than 15th. Unfortunately, I went out of the track during my second quick lap, and then I also encountered some traffic in my final lap in Q2. It's a shame because I could have been quicker, and been a couple of places higher, about 11th or 12th. Regarding the race tomorrow, I thing the car has the potential to do better than the 15th place, but at the same time its always difficult to overtake on that track. Besides that, we have to be very attentive because it may rain during the race. The track is very tough for the car, but as usual my target is to finish the race and to be as quick as possible. It will be difficult to get into the points, but once again we never know what might happen during the race. From a technical point of view, we made a step forward, but we have still a lot to do to get the maximum out of the car. Even if we have a better feeling with the car, we are not at the level we hope to be. We are going to work hard in the next few weeks to improve the whole package. From a personal point of view, I would always like to do better, but I have the feeling that I have made a step forward in handling the qualifying session and the race. However, I still have a lot more things to learn.
