Waiting for Silverstone
Silverstone
I was really busy since the Turkish grand prix. On the race evening, I was back in Faenza in Italy, where the team Toro Rosso is based, and I stayed there all the week. With my personal coach, Raniero, I devoted myself to an intensive physical training, every day, during many hours, even more than what I am normally doing. In the team, I worked a lot as well with my engineers. We tried to understand what we did wrong during the Turkish Grand Prix, and I think we found out some good solutions. This weekend, in Silverstone, we will have a new front wing. We are also going to change quite a bit the set-up of the car, and I think that we should be able to gain two or three tenths in comparison with the Turkish Grand Prix. It seems like nothing, but as performances between cars are very tight this season, even a insignificant benefit can allow us to grab some places in the grid. Our engineers are working very hard to have the famous double-diffuser in Budapest, in five weeks from now. Toro Rosso is currently the only team not to use it. After that, we should grab half a second to one second. I am waiting for seeing that, it will be fantastic!
